Animations and scene transitions

Learn how to create simple, engaging scene transitions.

Add animations to a project

In Campfire you can add animations to your scenes in two ways:

  1. Add a model with animations created in another tool
  2. Create simple animations using the scene transition features

Models with animations

If you already have an animated model, simply import the model using the file picker in the top left corner or drag and drop the model from your file picker.

Click on the model and choose Animation in the Scene tab of the inspector. This will then give you options to change the default settings on playback, direction, and speed.

Scene transitions

Using scene transitions, you can also create animations to demonstrate how a part works or how a training procedure is done.

1. Duplicate a scene with a model

3. Make changes to the duplicated scene

In the duplicated scene, you can adjust the position and materials for parts of the model. For example, you can move and rotate a specific part to mimic the actual motion of the part.
